MaryLin’s distinctive style of contemporary abstract expressionist art forms a dynamic connection between the artist’s inner and outer worlds. These expressive paintings reference the colours and rhythms of human emotion and the natural environment and are composed using delicate layered textures, subtle depths and free brush marks. Thoughtful, resonant and energetic, these works imagine spaces that invite the viewer to discover their own interpretation.
These explorative abstract works are created in acrylic and embedded in experimentation and exploration. MaryLin lives and creates her artwork in the temperate rainforest area of the Dandenong Ranges, Narrm, Melbourne; and is currently enjoying an artist’s residency as an emerging studio artist at Burrinja Cultural Centre in Upwey. |
