Biography: Lorraine Manderson
I enjoy the challenge of watercolour painting. Learning how to control and use its fluidity, transparency and spontaneity has helped me to create exciting and successful paintings of a looser impressionistic style. I enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes (plein air), capturing the light and beauty of nature and creation, that invokes emotion in the viewer. Also, I paint street scenes from my many travel experiences, that tell a story to which viewers can relate. I am an active member of the Ringwood Art Society and I have achieved numerous awards for my paintings. |
