This painting captures the feminine grace and charm that is depicted in the temple sculptures scattered throughout south India. As a young girl I went with my parents to view these marvellous works of art which left a profound impact on me. I was always fascinated and curious to visualize how they would have looked in real life, in their pristine beauty.
This painting is my humble attempt at capturing the timeless story of woman told throughout the ages in stone.
